What Can I Expect From a 1:1?

My 1:1’s will give you the tools to change and adapt your breathing to improve the way you feel, move, perform, and recover both mentally and physically.

My courses have been designed as your route to breathing yourself back to your natural, healthy state. Every one of us was born with perfect breathing mechanics which over time became dysfunctional through a mixture of bad habits, stress, or possibly a trauma or life experience. The good news is we can relearn functional breathing feel great once again.

I provide you with the tools to take control of your breath and wellbeing so you can apply them to what suits you in everyday life, be it creating calm through managing stress or giving yourself an advantage over your competitors in your chosen sports.

We spend time together gaining knowledge and testing your physiology, biomechanics, and biochemistry. Together we can make changes to your breathing to improve some or all of the following-

  • Increased Sports Performance

  • Stress and Anxiety Resilience

  • Sleep including Snoring and Sleep Apnea

  • Balance of the Nervous System

  • Fatigue and Energy

  • Taking a Full Satisfying Breath

  • Posture including Back and Neck Pain

7-Week 1:1 Course- In Person or Online

Firstly, we will discuss what you want from the course and look closely at your health, wellbeing, and lifestyle. The course will be designed specifically for you. Breathing is a powerful tool and should be programmed carefully. My job as a coach is to recognise what you need and ensure the programming suits your health and fitness. Then we will begin to start the practice over the 7-week period. The following is what we will cover-

  • The Oxygen Advantage- Sports Performance and Recovery, specific to your sports.

  • Breath Awareness- Feel and connect to yourself.

  • Functional Breathing v’s Dysfunctional Breathing.

  • Your CO2 Tolerance- How tolerant are you to carbon dioxide? 

  • Daily Breathwork Practices including breath-holds to increase CO2 tolerance to optimise health, wellbeing, and performance.

  • Mastering nasal and diaphragm breathing.

  • LSD Breathing- Light, Slow, and Deep Breathing.

  • Understanding your Nervous System- become an expert in controlling your nervous system to promote calm and balance or create more energy and focus when you need it.

  • Stress Resilience- reduce stress and anxiety.

  • Sleep- How to breathe yourself into a deep sleep for optimal recovery and restoration.

  • Sleep Hygiene- Evening rituals to increase deep and REM sleep.

The course runs for 7 weeks. Here is how it works-

  • The first session is 1.5 hours long and all sessions following last 1 hour.

  • 1 session a week during weeks 1, 2, and 3.

  • Following session 3 we take a break for 3 weeks to enable you to go deep into self-practice before returning for session 4 in week 7 to examine your data and progress.

  • You will have full contact and support with me personally over the 7-week course through scheduled phone calls, messages, WhatsApp, email, or online calls.

  • As a coach, it’s my responsibility to hold you to account by ensuring you feel supported and are adhering to your programming for guaranteed health and performance improvements.

  • You will begin to see progress within the 1st few days of working with me and substantial life-changing progress after 7 weeks.
